Moodboard, Issue II, Spring 2022.
ZU Magazine is a student led Magazine at Azusa Pacific University. Each semester, 3 issues are published both electronically and in print.
In “New Beginnings,” the second issue printed in Spring 2022, my role was co-Art Director. I was responsible for curating a moodboard with the ideas we settled on in our creative team meeting, designed half the spreads with InDesign (including the cover where I used the pen tool in Illustrator) and utilized photoshop with any images sent to us by the authors.
For this issue, our key words were “New Beginnings,” “Spring times,” and “New Life.” Our colors were neutrals of beige and greens, the images we had in mind were flowers, vintage flower posters, and cottage-like.
