I was fortunate to work in the Italian Alps with LE ROGGE and Riccardo Monte Architecture during the last few months of 2023. The project initially started with a goal to create four vinyl panels that would inform the community and tourists about the location and the history of the Marble Cave, the process of excavation and why they do it. My role in this project was Co-Creative Director and Graphic Designer. Helping these creative people sort the chaos and firecracker ideas of their minds into tangible, visual works of art. By the end of the project, we created five panels; (one additional panel showing the map of the cave and the direction of the tour itself,) two tickets; (one for children, one for adults,) a refreshed business card; and I helped with English translation for their website. See more about this project here.
I was given old maps to scan and combine for this Map Panel. The typeface is a handwritten font that I also recycled for the Title and contact information (with the exception of "FINE/END" and "INIZIO/START" which is my handwriting. The organic orange circular shape was handmade with watercolor and the file itself was created with photoshop.
In my capacity as Co-Creative Director, I spearheaded collaborative efforts to conceptualize and execute innovative design solutions that seamlessly blended aesthetic appeal with functionality. Working closely with a talented team on a marble cave project with LE ROGGE, nestled in the breathtaking Italian Alps, I played a pivotal role in bringing a fusion of creativity, design expertise, and linguistic proficiency to this unique venture.

I helped bring forth a cohesive visual identity that captured the essence of the marble cave experience, ensuring that every graphic element resonated with the project's overarching vision. Additionally, my role as an English Translator was instrumental in bridging linguistic gaps and facilitating effective communication across the project. This multifaceted position demanded a unique blend of artistic vision, project management, and linguistic proficiency, and I take pride in having contributed to the success of this marble cave project, transforming it into an immersive experience that captivates visitors from around the world.
